s13 electrical problem

Alright I rebuilt my ka24de s13 and took the dash out and engine out along with the engine harness only. since I put the engine and harness back in I have been having trouble after trouble. well one i believe my ignition switch is shot, the oil light and the safety belt light is on with the key out. second problem is the starter relay not sure about a couple of the plugs some be swapped. but when i turn my key i get a click when I turn it but its inside the cabin. now im getting fuel to the rail and i wanted to know which ones is the return and the inlet top is where i have my pressure going to. and as for the starter 12v signal wire there are two yellow and black wires, is it the heavier guage wire? also my flip up lights are stuck up. Help I am a newb with this chasis,

THe return fuel lines would be from the top and bottom incoming.. What do you meant heavier gauge wire? IF you flip light are stuck up then you probably have bad motor, fuse, relay or it not getting power..

What would be the possibility of the wrong wire going to the signal cable and how would I know if my starter relay is bad?

IF you don't hear the relay clicking not it meant it not working or you can try testing them but you will have to google how-tos on that.. Are you tryng to connec the yellow and black wire or something to the relay??

You might have forget to connect a wiring some where under the dash or engine bay or you might have connected wiring wrog. Have you try checking to see if the starter connected correctly. CHeck those carefully and ground wire. If you hear click while turning the engine then check the ignition wiring properly and check to see if the clutch pedal switch are o.k

Yes i think there a ground for the starter relay right by starter.. The fuse box that beside the battery didn't mention about the starter relal. I thnk there an interlock relay beside the battery and might be for the auto tranmission for 240sx and sometime goes bad.. Maybe if google it up it might help. THe fuse box beside the battery contain fuel pump green , headlamp gray , and condenser fan relay blue, and e.c.c.s relay green.

Do you have DMM. Get it and test it and see the relay getting voltage. DId the car work before when you pull everythings out? You might have forget to connect something somewhere...
