Just a Dutch 240sx
Hi all,
I'm Jens From the Netherlands, and because of my brother i'm now 2 years owner of a Beige 240sx. It is a 240sx SE Sharknose with the KA24DE, it currently has an automatic trans but i have a manual swap laying around. The car has Super Hicas and the active speakers system. currently has 56K miles on the clock and 0 Rust which is pretty unique at this side of the world. I found her in the Czech Republic as a bone stock virgin with only 47K miles on it. The original plan was to go there, fall in love, buy it and cannonball it back to the Netherlands a small 1800km. (1118 miles) Sadly the distributor was crap so as soon as the engine got on temp it would shut down until it cooled off again. She was put on a trailer and off she went to my home. First thing we did was a proper wash, the car was extremely dirty from standing still for more than 10 years. I managed to find a spare KA24 which is a pretty rare engine here in Europe, As many of you know we got the 200SX with a CA18DET. We got the car fixed and since it drives amazing. Fast forward into the current time line: Since owning the car i did a few things, - 5 Lug conversion hubs - R33 GTST Front brakes - Borrowed my brother his R33 GTR wheels - Bought SSR Kakimoto N-GT and got them refurbished - Put in Recaro SR seats - installed a Nardi Steering wheel - Got the rust on my hatch fixed - installed HSD coilovers - fixed the sunroof rubber - RayBrig Clear headlights - Blox Velocity stack with 3.5'' filter - Installed the Super Bright led kit from Restomod ninja - Installed OEM nissan Chuki skirts - Installed Canadian driving lights The to do list: - Manuel swap it - put it on my own wheels - put on my Eastbear lip - put on my Bomex Wangan wing - install R33 GTST rear brakes with the 200sx handbrake system - fix the bloody leaking tail lights Future plans: - Put in a 200sx rear subframe without Hicas - Turbo the KA - EGR delete - maybe respray in Juniper Green. Some progres pictures: coilover install Borrowed my brother his rear hatch so mine could be fixed, and installed the steering wheel. Painted the calipers bright metallic blue Made a special looking rear hatch when we went to pick up my freshly painted hatch :P https://www.instagram.com/p/B4FUEoLH..._web_copy_link This link will show you my new wheels for the car. Test fitted the new wheels Tried the Bomex wing Tested the Lip. Soon ill post more |

Wonder!
Hey there, beautiful car. Allow me to ask you something. The r33 rear disk brakes fit in directly in the 200sx? i ask as the 240sx have different disk brakes and you mentioned it, Also, is it easy to find a replacement 200sx quarter glass over there?
I have a 200sx but i'm not from europe, im from venezuela wich is really far from it and some parts are hard to come by. |
