Hello,

I recently purchased a set of S14 Diff bushings from ebay

and I recently purchased an S14 VLSD

and wanted to install the new bushings since I have an S13. So when I tried to put the bushings in, it seems as though the bushing is too small to fit as you can see here

so i'm thinking maybe I need to buy new oem diff bushings and these press into those?? or the bushings are cut too small?? any help would be great

after some research it seems as though, there is supposed to be a metal sleeve that encases the stock bushing?? anyone have a pic or know where I can get one?

Yeah you are suppose to leave the metal bushing in. Only remove the rubber section. Did you get your bushings form rdstuner? think that was his name. If so they might be too tall. I had to turn mine down on the lathe in order for them to fit properly. U can see what I mean here, 3/4 the way down - #/f/s-chassis/340497...-dd-build.html

Try courtesyparts for the sleaves. They seem to have everything under the sun.

awesome , yeah that's exactly where I got mine from... do you know if the SPL bushings go in without the sleeves?? I might just get SPL bushings if I don't need to buy new metal sleeves

just looked it up, doesn't seem to show any in the diagram for the sleeves... any other options I have??? i'm sure there's gotta be something in place of the sleeves I can put in
