Stupid HID Electrical Question S14

So I install a new H1 HID kit. Do driver first. Works awesome. Turns off and on. Do Passenger. All works well for 10/15 seconds before they both shut off. Aaaaand I cant turn them back on. Hi beams work. Hazards work. Blinkers work. Corner lights and Headlights dont turn on. Fuses all seem good. Checked polarity. What the fuck.
THEN when I lock my car, the headlights flash like they normally do when I lock it. I cant turn them on manually but they work when I lock it with the remote. Bad stalk?

Could be not enough ampage to push the ballast. You'll need to run 2 relays and pull power straight from the battery. You then use the original headlight wire as the switch to turn the relay on/off for your lights to turn on.

What brand is the HID kit?

Everyone always assumes HID kits are all about the same but 70% of the ebay kits always have problems even when installed properly with relays

lemme guess...xentec?

yeah, what brand is it? DDM tuning has some issues. One of mine would turn on and turn off, then have a hard time turning it back on.
