there any aero fenders and/or side markers (blinkers) that can be put on the 240? looking for ones that fit a 95. or if you find a site that has any and all aero fenders and what they fit I would highly appreciate it. I like some but not all, I just think it would look sweet with either aero fenders with side markers or just side markers period...what do you guys/gals think?

there are lots.. but most are very... yucky.
i like subtle kits or ones that make the 240 look nice and sleeperish... that way it's much more fun to play w/ a honda when he thinks you're 'slow'.... |

On the sidemarkers, you mean the factory bumper lenses on the front fascia...the orange ones?...if so, a company called D-speed out of Japan makes clear replacements. I got mine for $95 from www.jspecusa.com
Only website I've seen them on. Simple to install and definitely enhances the front of the car!!! (Edited by HondakillaS14 at 6:51 pm on Aug. 28, 2001) |

no no, the markers on the side of the car, right where the door and the fenders meet up...well around that area. I'll try to find a pic somewhere. they don't come on very many cars here. but I know they cam on a lot over in Japan and all that

don't be sorry, as a matter of fact I didnt' really notice the sidemarkers in front of the wheel...I like them. but I just like the way the marker looks when it's behind the wheel inbetween the wheel and door that's all. well I'm still lookin, but it's all good. with custom mod I bet I could just get some jspec sidemarkers and do it that way, but I'd prolly just stick with the ones in front of the wheel. thanks anyways man

If I remember right, Dave's 200sx has the marker between the wheel and the door instead of between the tire and the front of the car. I'm pretty sure his came like that though so that info might not be much help

Yeah, the S14 200sx has small oval ones in front of the doors, and no sidemarker lights on the sides of the front bumper. It's a Euro / Aussie / NZ thing haha. . It's more for law than looks.. I just rewired my front parking lights on the sides as turn signals only, not legal, but it looks 100% OEM and around here, no trouble with the law... And, at night it'll give u that JDM look (no x-tra light hehe)... Makes more sense for the JDM look on a Zenki S14, but it's very practical as well on any 240sx, since there's no good way for someone in your blind spot to know you want that lane =)

Oh anyway.. if u want the 200sx look (which I like, cause everyone goes JDM around here, and there's nothin wrong with Euro! hehe) go find someone that can go to a nissan dealer overseas to get these for ya... I know the diagrams at our local nissan dealer here in Indiana show the 200sx fenders, complete with a cutout for the sidemarkers, but I don't think we can buy that part. . just the front lip spoiler for some reason, which was never offered on a new Kouki S14 lol

Or you could just use E36 BMW Sidemarkers...That's what I ended up doing, and their a cinch to put on. Just cut out the rectangle and slide them on, and with one screw their done. Not like those aftermarket ones where you have to file out the hole to the exact size, and force snap them in.
Here's some pics...sorry about the dirty car and filty garage...this was the day I got my new side skirts. They were off of a Silver Moss car, and just happened to be a real close match to what my front lip spoiler was at the time. I just had to see what it would look like. (Edited by nismo270r at 11:54 am on Nov. 17, 2001) |
