It sounds cheesy, but... I picked up my seat covers from discount auto parts. They were $30 a piece, and they are 2 piece covers, one for seats, the other for the headrest. They are black and red, and match my exterior and limo tint. The first thing people say when they get into my car is "WOW! Nice seat covers!"

Sorry, I have an s14. They have a one piece seat cover in red/black scheme, for the same price. I think that's what you're saying by "with the hole up top"
If not, post. I'll be here. -Jeff |

I actually just picked up a set of seat covers with "240sx" across the top portion of the seat from Nissan dealer......$40 and it's a one piece design...colors are dark and light grey. I got the dark ones...easy to install and covers up the faded black stock seat....until of course I get them re-upholstered...I'm thinking black seats w/ grey inserts following the factory pattern and greya inserts on the doors...all vinyl...whatta ya think....suttle and not "ricey"<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>?

Vinyl wouldn't necesserily look bad, but it is the most horrid stuff to sit on, especially if you're in a wam climate. I've got the benefit of a family member who does upholstry and works in a carpet store, so I plan on getting my seats reupholstered and new carpet (stock is ripped on either side of the driver's legroom). Nice neutral black and/or grey, whatever she can get for me cheap <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> Mebbe if I'm lucky, I can get the seats padded a bit better too <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

There is a company here in Chicago that has a custom shop that can and will make seat covers (two-color, fabric) for $200 a pair. They'll fit perfectly and cover up that rip on our seats. If there's anyone interested, please let me know, I'll get you guys the info. Thanks!
