Wierd Noise....
While idling car soudns great but when accelerating it makes like a ticking noise...almost like something is lose or something hitting the fans. Could it be the lifters on my car?
I have a 96 kouki with a ka24de... thank you. |

Sorry your right, its a 1996 with a kouki front...so i might as well just get a new timing chain kit n a water pump then?

No no no, the timing chain kit is like $500 last I remember.
Just remove the upper timing chain guide, 2 12mm bolts if I remember correctly. If you're nervous about doing this on the MCS14(Kouki) the MC stands for Minor Change and one of the changes is that they removed this upper timing guide. |
