Hobbies
I'm looking for a new hobby. I workout during the day, which I don't consider a hobby. I was into model cars years ago, and I haven't done grafitti in forever now. Just looking to see if anyone is doing anything interesting.

well I don't want anything computer related since I'm on it all the time (work and work at home). I'm looking for something that will get my mind off of work and keep me occupied. Possibly something that doesn't cost too much to get into (no more than like 200). No snow here in GA.

<~~~married to a hot chick, I'm good to go with that, but thanks for the suggestion.
I'd get more into cars, but not mine. She needs to stay exactly how she is now.

Buy a used Ruger .22, or a Browning Buckmark .22...and find a local range (outdoor is more fun). .22 shells are CHEAP...$11 for 550...and a used .22 pistol will be in the $200-250 range. ...and cars...you wouldn't be on Zilvia if it weren't for cars...but focus on actually USING your car that you've spent all this time working on (this is an assumption, your car may be stock?). Check out local SCCA regions, start going to races (Autocross, a.k.a. Solo II)...try to do the whole schedule, maybe 1-2 races per month for the whole year. Good, cheap fun (not counting the cost of tires)!). - Brian

+1 for photography
Expensive to start, if you want a good camera, but a good picture is always worth the effort.

sorry I mean not as clear because of reducing it...it looks weird compared to the full size one.
Looks like I have it narrowed down to model cars, rc cars, and woodworking

i work fulltime and i'm a fulltime student, so my schedule is always full. as of now, my hobby is my s13. where i live there are adult leagues (sp) for basketball, softball and touch football. you pay about 50 bucks to join up and you get your friends in on it too. great way to exercise and have fun at the same time.

If you don't plan on real guns I would suggest airsoft. A fast pace sport with authentic looking/feeling weapons and the best part.....you get to plaster people hahaha.
Go to www.cqbchallenge.com to get links for the next game. I believe it's pretty big in GA from what I hear.

I got into drift r/c cars for about 2 years... so much fun! then its like maintaining a regular car.. so i gave that up and started working on my REAL car haha
but right now Im more of a shoe collector ( Jordans, Nikes , Nike SB )...been in it since middle school now and still deal with alot of money.. everything has to do with money to have fun imo! which sucks.. |

I have a picture in the new issue of RideBMX, the March issue. So I guess BMX is kind of a hobby of mine, more of a life. I dont even think about riding anymore, I just kind of do itI get really grumpy if I dont ride and if I have a good day riding I'm in the best mood. I use to play bass and draw quite a bit and want to get back into that pretty badly; just need the motivation. Reading count as a hobby? How about asking yourself constant questions and trying to figure out weird ideas? Dreaming count? I'm a big dreamer. I have to many hobbies that I dont do enough of! Motivation is killing me and this stupid internet takes up to much of my time
