I used to live in Salina KS, how big is the drifting out there? I always thought of moving back as well.

I'm not sure about that area, I dont even know where it is, this event was held at heart land park topeka, it was pretty much all KC people out there, the drift scene in the KC area is going to absolutely explode in 09 season because we should have some where close to 10 events next year!

The scene is really just starting, so its still kind of small. But its really blowing up with such an awesome base to build off of.

does any one inthe wichita area have a cruise night or anything. when im out i rarely see any 240s, doesnt matter now anyway my car wont be done till spring anyway

I live right in middle of the two citys.. Emporia kansas.. ive managed to get 10 of my friends to invest in 240sx's... there are now nearly 20 of them in our town but only I have started trying to teach myself to drift so far.. we do have a G35 and a s2000 starting to learn as well.. i just switched from a mid engine MR2 turbo and 98 mustang gt so learning to handle to extra power of a RB25det 240sx has been a challenge.. recentally i clipped a curb at 100+mph and destroyed my lower control arm, tension rod and maybe split a bushing or 2... next week im ordering some nice 10kg/8kg coilovers and already got the other parts ready.... hopefully i'll be ready to cruze the citys in a week..
