Block work
So im going for a mild built on my dual came just a t28 550 cc injectors and im replacing rings and bearings on the pistons and im just asking is it necessary to hone and the deck the block? my cylinder walls are flawless btw and im on a budget so im not trying to spend a lot. thanks for any feedback!

Take it to a machine shop with what your working with and have them make that call..they have the precision tools and know what they are doing. Better to be safe then sorry in my book then building it and it not run right and have issues down the road and start all over again

It's one of those steps that's recommended but not necessary. Personally, i'd rather be safe then sorry. The hone you can get away with depending on how your cylinder walls are, but a deck of the block deffitnitly helps with sealing of the headgasket....way better then a scotch brite pad will.
