Alright guys. I've searched but can't find an answer. I've also asked 4 different paint stores, but wanted to ask some guys that have actually painted these cars before. I have a 90 Hatchback, how much paint should it take to paint the car. Most of the paint supply shops I've talked to say it should take about 2 quarts to paint the car. Does that sound right? Would that cover the interior too?

I saw another post on here and the guy said it took him 2 gallons to paint his. That's a huge difference. Thanks for the help.

I would buy a gallon of base coat because the paint shop will cut you a discount... You will need it later anyways...

And always a gallon of clear...

For the inside, you will need the same amounts...

Coverage depends on the starting and ending color... Black to white takes more paint than white to black...

I recommend PPG brand paint and clear... Glasurit is a little bit nicer clear if you have $100 more...
