Messed up Suspension
OK so I bought my car a while ago, and it came with cut springs, and horribly blown shocks. Today I got some tein lowering springs and oem replacement shocks.
When I took out my front struts, there were only two coils, and the spring was welded to the strut? Is this common when people cut springs? if so why weld the spring to the strut? I was JW.

I wouldnt say ultra ghetto. At least when this guy cut the springs he thought for a second "something could go wrong here" but then did it anyway. On second thought, thats just one more idiot running around with a welder.

Also glad to hear you are getting thoughs off your car. Haven't really heard of alot of people welding them but, that could have cause a very dangerous moment depending on how long thoughs could have been left in there longer.

Cut springs.... Cuz Pogo sticks are soooooo much fun. The last time I rode in a car with cut springs I thought I was gonna puke after I woke up from the concussion from hitting my head on the roof. Cool deal on switching up right.

I traded an xbox for the front end, and the car came with cut springs, rims were a kind of cheap once in a while deal. Coilovers will come when I get the money, but for now my teins are ok.
