first off "To each there own!", if u dont like what I have to say, stop reading and go to a different thread. yes it's ridiculous that pot or aka weed is still illegal in most states. shit it is a weed, hence the name, it still grows wild in the midwest but that's besides the point. I personally don't see them (the federal government) fully legalizing it besides as a controlled medicine. One reason being is it is a weed, plant a seed in a pot of soil or your back yard and that little plant will grow on its own. Might not be a female and give u nice buds, but doesn't take a genious to grow weed. Last time I checked there wasn't one medicine you could grow, cultivate and use on a daily basis for the cost of potting soil and water. trust me I tried growing vicodin's and percs...j/k. if you could (and can) grow ur own medicine indoors or out of public view, how would the fed's tax that? How would they know your growing, and if they did know you where growing, how much could they tell your growing? *for this reason alone it scares me to become a medical patient, you're now on file and they know where u grow.* they cant tell unless they raid your house (need a warrant and a reason). so lets say u live in a apartment complex with 100 units, u grow 5 plants and every other person does the same. thats 250 plants unacounted for, and untaxed. pretty hard to tax something if they dont know how much is out there. and yes it's a cash crop, might not be "legal" but when you cut your crop and have 10 pounds of dank, u can sell it, trade it, fuck smoke it all up for what i care. What the hell are you gonna go with let's say 10 lbs of corn, or wheat? make a 1/2 gallon of biofuel or 300 loves of bread. 10 lbs of bud will certanly give me more options and money to take care of those around me, or just me.
If it was also legal, the federal government would lose money. Think about it, no more cases to go to trial, no more taking possesions of your assets i.e. house, cars, property, money sitting in the bank, no more fines and fees to pay for, no drug classes to go to and pay for (set up by local gov.), etc... Any of these thing's could be considered bought, used, or the byproduct of growing/smoking pot and taken from you. ouch... Don't tell me they dont make money by keeping it illegal, they just wouldn't make as much money if they did legalized it. After all this typing I think I might just drive down to 7-11 pick up some 40's and get drunk, since that's legal. But why in the world isn't there any medical "alcohol"? since that's legal and had been so since the days of proabition. maybe it's bad for you, but fuck it u live only once and gotta have some fun. changed my mind, gonna roll a phat blunt for ya'll, sit back smoke it, then get ready for my evening classes. peace

Well, Im about to start college to get an associates in criminal justice, prolly a few other degrees, and become a highway patrolman. I agree marijuana is not a dangerous drug. This puts me in a prediciment. If I pull someone over with a dimebag what will I do? Turn a bline eye probably.

If I pull someone over with 300 lbs of pot, and 50 grand in the trunk, what do i do? Arrest them. Does that make me a hypocrit? I dont think so.
