maybe alternator fuse?
Does the car crank at all? hook up the battery properly and see if you're getting any voltage to your starter.

its that fuse forshure...
its a grey lil box with a fuse in it. replace it with another 80a i think? or you can use a fuseable link.

If the car starts.. then what exactly isn't working? Interior power? You blew a fuse.. replace it.. even if it doesn't look blown and see.

There's only one 75A, it's the ALT one. Everything will shut down except for the headlights if it blows.

Hey Russ?
So what does the slot in the fusebox that says FL75A on the top left corner (if staring into the engine bay from the front end) mine is empty What about if my FL 100A looks like the top blew off? can this be a cause for the electrical failure?

If the 100A is blown you're seriously out some travel time. If your 75A fuse is missing, that may be an issue also.
I know on the early 95 base models they did not have the 100A main fuse, but the fusebox cover was etched to show it. What year/trim is your car?

SEs all have the 100A. Only the first few months of production base models don't have it.

ill take a pic of the fuse box tonight, perhaps that'll clarify the issue
based on my description you still conclude that its the FL 75A/ALT fuse?

You blew some alarm fuses too. Go back and have them go over it.

So i dont make a new thread ill bring this one back.
1995 base model FL75A fuse is blown and none of my electronics/lights work due to this (of course) So I throw another one on and it immediately starts smoking so i take it off. So to see how bad it is I jump it with a 10 gauge wire and go to hook up my battery it sparks so its grounding out hard. Im not at home much so I just wanted to see if anyone had ideas on what I need to check. I just did a swap and had to put a diff connector on one of the alternator wires so I think one might be wrong?

ok the plastic connector going to the alt is fine and plugged in. The black wire is bolted to the top of the backside of the alt for ground, then the other post style wire is on the stud with a nut holding it on. Is an RB alt different where I dont need to hook up one of these?
