Hey guys, name's Kevin, and I just bought a $500 '89 s13 hatch. Fuck me right?

Not my first project car. My other car is my mad tyte Civtegra Accord, or Integra for short. Yes I know, fail wheel drive, slow as fuck, but she's my baby and first car and I actually enjoy the thing. Pictured here:

But the real reason I'm posting is because of this POS:

Like I said $500, and I hauled it to a friend's place for temp storage.

Story tiem:

Guy bought the car with the single cam that had blown the rear main and was toast. Proceeded to buy running KA24DE from a fella who was going SR20. Attempted single -> dual swap. Everything is in, supposedly wired correctly (his first time doing said swap), and when you turn the key... nothing. Starter doesn't do anything. No click. Honestly it could be as simple as a near dead battery, I'll find out once I get a chance to start messing with it.

But for now, the plan is to spend very little money, get it started, running, and driving, and proceed from there.
