s14 Vibration issues on deceleration..
Recently I have been having an issue with my car.. On deceleration in 5th between 90-120 km/h the rear end of the car is vibrating.. I can feel it in my seat and on the floor.. It wont do it in 4th but it will in 5th. It only happens when Im fully decelerating off the gas pedal..
What could it be? I recently did a clutch job to a comp clutch white bunny setup and I have also recently liquid urathaned my oem motor mounts (not the trans mount) Not sure if the mounts have anything to do with it but I am planning on swapping oems back in. I have also tried rotating the front driveshaft 180 degrees which did nothing.. Could it be a blown bushing on the diff? Sometimes my rear end likes to "hop" or shudder when I reverse the car? |

Most likely the urethane from the motor mounts. They are stiffer, therefore transmitting more vibration from the motor into the chassis. When I put stiffer mounts (engine/trans) it was night and day in terms of chassis vibrations.

Yea you want something to absorb at least some of the vibrations for a street car. Im too old to be running straight solid mounts. Shit my Bride seat alone hurts my hips.
