the more money you put into the paint job, the more the buyer will see you've put time time and effort into the car. I've done the $50 paint job on my track car, cause i didn't care how it was going to look. I think if you at least go to a One-day Paint & body. It would look a lot more appealing to the buyer. just FYI.
some pics of mines. if i had to do it again. i wouldve saved and had a pro a paint it. it came out okay though. to answer your question though, I like Black.

not painted and factory color. No one really wants a car thats been repainted a factory color it raises eyebrows about its history. If you paint it, you should just go for something different and tell people you just wanted a different color and the car hasn't been totalled out and fixed.

Unless your car is multi color leave it stock oem paint even if it is faded. When you paint it with $50 paint and it does not come out nice, you could have gotten more if you left it alone.

Whatever color is in the door jambs and engine bay. Unless you plan on doing an expensive and labor intensive color change it will look like shit if everything is mismatched.

it originaly wasnt any real color when i bought it, it was a sort of sea green with lots of bondo.
right now the front looks like this; but the back looks like dis; so i figured i should just repaint the whole thing, my brother actually did that job but hes off in some other state for a while. |

How about you do what makes the most sense:
1) Finish the blue paintjob that who in the fuck ever started or 2) Go back to OE color. ... most people are not going to lay out a boatload of cash to acquire a car whose history they might find questionable or have a hard time confirming.

if you're selling the car dont bother with painting it... 240s sell pretty well without paint and it might save you time and trouble... I bought my 240 with a ghheeeetttooooo asss rattle can job and I've regretted it ever since cuz i'm the one who had to sand it down primer it, get crap off all the trim, replace trim, remove overspray.... but then again i probably wouldnt have paid much more for a 240 with a nice paint job

Maybe you should just hand over the car to someone with style. Why would you let a SE S14 sit in the rain unprotected or use roll on paint? chmercer for the win on this topic. Get em dude! *a
