yeah. move out of state.
or don't do stupid shit that gets you pulled over, man. drive carefully, and don't give them reason. other than that, an sr is an sr and will be illegal unless it's registered for off-road use. or you can try to hide that it's an sr... good luck

if you are gonna do the sr swap and want to "look" legit to the cops, keep the swap stock, and paint your valvecover some stock color if it's a redtop and don't keep the sparkplug cover cuz it says turbo on it haha.

If/When you swap it, use a lot of black semi gloss spray paint to de-bling your stuff...shiny parts draw attention. You'd be surprised how effective this is.

ive been researching this.. all it takes is 5 cars with SRs in them to pass a ref inspection and pass on meter test. so.. clean running motors with a new cat with all carb legal parts (or all the stock nissan stuff) and it could be done. as did motorex with the skylines.. its not that difficult it requires organizing and people who arnt cheap asses or half asses or flakes.. so that knocks out about 90% of zilvia.

^If it were truly that easy, it would'e been done years ago. MotoRex found a loophole for the Skylines, which has since been closed. Bottom line in this argument is...
NOT LEGAL. NOT GOING TO BE LEGAL. SEARCH BEFORE ASKING DUMB N00B QUESTIONS.
