My bro has a G35 coupe with the factory Infiniti 19" forged Rays with Nitto Invo tires. He just bought some 18" 7 spoke factory Infiniti wheels with tires for the winter. We tried putting them on today but they don't want to mount right. There is a stud like thing (not a stud) in between the studs that seems to be the problem. If anyone has any insight on why these wheels wont mount right please please let me know. Thanks.

the offset might be different then what is on your car. may need a spacer.

5-10 mm spacer maybe required to use those wheels. measure the studd type thing ha ha then you will have your awnser

Your rims have to be HUB CENTRIC....there machined to fit perfectly on the hub.

How Hub Centric Rings Work - JustForWheels.com

You will need spacers or have a machine shop mill out the middle...

or you can put some spacers with Acorn Nuts...

You will need a minimum of 7 full turns on the lugs to be safe....with these lugs I have 9...

This is a common issue. The little stud with a 12mm bolt comes right off. It is there to keep idiots from mounting staggered stock wheels wrong.

I had that too but take it off that bolt is to hold the rotor..
