Ohh snap guys. I hella came up yesterday.
I got a 2002 Ford f-250 extended cab. It is Turbo Diesel 7.3L, Auto, Perfect exterior, nice interior, great engine, etc. Kelly Blue Book $14,800 I got it out the door for $7200.00 23MPG Epic win. There are many deals out there. You just have to find them. Even came with a rack, and a nice lockbox that I can sell.

So my real question now is.
If I was to get a 4.0L Ranger with a Pre-Runner type lift. Would I still be able to tow shit? I know about the drop down tow kits, but would the angle the truck is at make it incapable of towing?

nah, my buddy had a taco with ~10-12 inches of lift and 38's with a drop hitch and towed a enclosed with 3 dirt bikes no problem, it was supercharged though.

Sorry to bump such an old thread but I was wondering if anyone has really towed with a full size Bronco. I'm in the market for one and I think I've found it but it has the '94 5.0 motor and what I'd really like is the 5.8 motor. Thoughts..? Thank you

a pick up truck with a loooong ass bed is shitty for towing if it doesn't have a big wheelbase, shit will squirrel all around on you.

Hmmm.. Well I guess the Bronco's wheelbase isnt very long. I'd say its just as long as Ranger..?? Just a bit wider right..?

ok im going to make this easy for you
dont get a fucking ranger they suck ass cant tow shit and cant haul people, if you dont have any friends then you are in luck. im not like just everyone on here im not brand loyal at all so you can trust what i say. get the older 96-? ford f150 we have two of them one with i think 320k and the other with like 290k no fucking joke. we never change the oil its lucky if it get done every 30-40k no tranny probs at all. and i would say each one a little sensor went out like $100 bucks and we changed the plugs and wires at about 200k. and thats fucking it, honda my ass this will last longer i fucking swear, and the mpg is not bad at all.

$6k? Toyota t100. The model with cab if you have kids. I have a '00 4Runner (same engine as the t100 iirc) and it's never failed me. As a matter of fact, you could tow with a 4runner which is also at or around $6k(earlier year model). ~5000 lbs two capacity.

Cummins, my dodge gets better mileage than my toyota trucks and diesel costs about $.50 /gallon less than premium gasoline.
