2011 Z Nationals Track Day at the Atlanta Motor Speedway facility in Hampton,GA has been secured. The 2.5 mile infield road course features a mixture of turns including fast, flat sweeping corners and high banked turns used by NASCAR (see "Course Map" below).
Pre-registration for the track event is $195 and spots are limited!! Don't miss this opportunity to push yourself and your car to the limits on one of NASCAR’s premier race tracks. Instructors will be provided and all levels of drivers are welcomed and encouraged.


There will be adequate truck & trailer support vehicle parking inside the track,on the east infield grass lot. Families and friends are encouraged to attend the event.

Run Groups:
There will be (2) run groups dedicated to the Z Nationals entrants. The run groups will be divided according to driver skill and experience. In total, there will be a limit of 20 cars per run group. Run group sessions will last for 20 minutes each.

Track Info:
Located 25 miles south of Atlanta, the Atlanta Motor Speedway facility normally plays host to NASCAR races throughout the year. Until recently, it has rarely been used for Road Course events publically. Featuring a wide configuration of turns, including the 24 Degree high banked turns #1 & #2 used by NASCAR, the overall course layout offers many challenges. Slated to be a very fast track, drivers will enjoy a unique experience only offered at a handful of facilities around the world.

In-Car Instructors:
As an added bonus, there will be several SCCA-certified, ride along instructors who will be available for those of you who have never road raced. Together, these instructors will ride along with you to teach you the basics of performance driving, track etiquette, etc. so that you can capitalize on you and your vehicles maximum potential SAFELY!
This is NOT a competitive event in any form or fashion. The 2011 Z Nationals Track Day is designed to be a high performance driving experience and school with the utmost safety in mind.

Vehicle Inspection “Tech Inspection”/ Driver’s meeting:
Consider this as your vehicles “physical exam”. All registered vehicles MUST have the supplied Pre-Tech Inspection sheet found in the Registration Packet fulfilled PRIOR to arriving at the track Sunday morning. All participating vehicles MUST be at the track at 7:00 AM to perform a final tech inspection prior to being allowed on track. All drivers must be present to check all required safety gear and to attend the mandatory driver’s meeting.

PLEASE NOTE:
The 350Z Roadsters, G37 Convertibles and 370Z Roadsters ARE NOT eligible to participate in the 2011 Z Nationals Track Day event unless they have been fitted by an aftermarket, SCCA approved roll cage. The only approved Roadster/Convertible allowed factory will be the ’93-’96 Nissan 300zx Convertible. If you are unsure as to whether your vehicle will be eligible to participate, please email a clear picture of your vehicle along with your concerns and contact information.

Required Safety Gear & Clothing:
In order to participate in the 2011 Z Nationals Track Day event, all driver’s MUST have the following safety gear and attire present before being allowed onto the track*
SNELL SA2005+ Helmet or M2005+ (ONLY if the car is not equipped with a roll cage)
Long Pants
Closed toe shoes
*NO synthetic clothing will be allowed!

Inclement Weather:
Please be aware that the 2011 Z Nationals Track Day will take place Rain or Shine. No refunds will be made as a result of inclement weather. In the event of extreme inclement weather (Tornados, Floods, Hurricanes, etc.), the Z Nationals event staff will work with all registered participants to reschedule the track event or make other arrangements.
All drivers are asked to please print, review, and bring the completed Registration Packet to the event. It will be required at the gate to get your car # and driver’s wristband during final tech inspection. In the event that you receive you car # at the Friday Pre-Tech session, your vehicle will still need to be inspected before you are able to go on track.
