Ive never tried federals but im sure it will work. Maybe achilles have more flimsy sidewall because they are cheaper

I come to conclusion its must be tires and my setup combo (too much stretch, stress on the inner sidewall, heat and camber, i run -7, -10 daily). I did go to another shop yesterday (the Setup here in Houston is pretty good) out of 4 they flipped 3 no problem and the last one started to leak at the bead. Seems like its a 50/50 chance with Federals, the inner sidewall bead ripps when they're talking the tire off. I think I'm going to try some 235/35r18 Falken 912s for my next set. Those should be pretty close to 225 federals right?

I run stretched 265/35 on my 11.5" WEDS wheel and it's stretched pretty far already. You have an additional 1/2" more stretch room more per side than I do....I wouldn't do it even if I could. Safety first bro..

However, if you must, try baking the tire under the sun for a couple of hours to make it more pliable..that helped my 245 on a 11" wheel.

Can anyone help me? I cant get my tires to fully stretch and I need ideas.

They are Feddy 595ss 265/30/19 going on 19x12 wheels. I know it can be done because others have.

Any ideas on what to do?

Wheel have reverse lips so they are flat and drop center barrels which is where the problem lies. It doesn't seem to want to finish climbing over the lip

I have tried:
1. Bike tire trick
2. Fire trick doesn't work because of the reverse lips
3. Tried lubing up the tire and bouncing the shit out of it while it had 100psi in it.

It is fully inflated at 100psi right now and holding......

HELP PLEASE!!

Why do so many people run the overly bulky federals on here so much when Hankooks, Falkens, yokohomas etc is better option

Because those cost 2 or 3 times as much as Federals and most people going for extreme tire stretch aren't looking for the best performing tires obviously.

Maybe so but the added bulk doesn't give the clearance people are looking for

Often people run federals when they want a certain size tire but need it a little wider than average. Like if you have 225-35 falkens, and you want them a little wider, you buy some federal 225-35s. It's not really all that complicated.

Couldn't get the 265/35s to work like snags did so got some 285/30s they look just as great! Tad bit of barrel poke..

I'm done with with shitty Fereral tires forever. It was between 235/35r18 Falken ziex 912 or 245/35R18 Hankook ventus v12 evo so I ended up with hankooks. Anybody run these tires stretched with camber? Sidewall is so soft compared to Federals, I'm a little worried about it separating/bubbles. Haven't put them on the car yet. 245/35r18 on 18x11, meatier than old 225s but I like it.

I ordered a set of 18x11 +8 wheels for my s14. anyone know what size spacers I'll need to run double digit - camber in the front? I ordered 50mm for the front and 25mm for the rear. (I know, its gonna squat super hard) and I'm not planning on using over fenders…also, Im planning on 225/35/18 but I'm afraid the inner barrel will get fucked.. maybe a 235? any input? thanks.

Anyone mount a 235/35/18 on a 18x11.5? Looking to do this, but not sure which tire and if the stretch is too much. Thanks.
