SR Solution to sr20 rocker arms

Hey there, My name's Hector and my partner would be my friend Nathan. I had been noticing that there wasn't any real upgrades for the SR20 when it came to rocker arms. I've seen arms offered by companies like HKS but they're little more than treated OEM arms that cost over 200 an arm when you buy the set. Having personally experienced a cracked rocker arm, I know the risk is out there and nobody wants their build to have a weak point after so much time, effort, and dedication has been poured into it.

My buddy works at a nice machine shop equipped with state of the art machining set ups. To make this a reality wed have to create in bulk to make it affordable as well as economical for all parties involved.

Although some critics may try and say the rocker arm was designed to be the weak link in the system, A thrown or cracked rocker arm can destroy a head. Rocker arm stoppers have been proposed as a solution but they too have a split jury with half of the forum say they cause more harm than good by forcing them to stay in place risking bent valves among other catastrophic failures.

The reason for this post is to gauge interest if this is something we should pursue as there's no real aftermarket solution even though the platform has been around for decades. Would there be enough support to warrant various versions such as a dual guide/solid lifter/solid and dual/ arm on top of normal arms.

What would y'all be willing to pay for these as production won't be too cheap but could lead to a great step forward in SR reliability.

My SR will be the guinea pig as its healthy and about to be completely built. This will give multiple opportunities to refine the design until I feel confident running these arms in my daily as a proof of concept and are ready to put them on the market for all of you. The manufacturing process as well as materials used will be decided on with the help of the lead engineer at the machine shop.

Thank you for the read and I'm hoping we can male something work out. Take care
