Get parts from ebay?

I have a 1993 S13 Hatchback and it is mainly used for drift.

I am thinking about getting the following parts in ebay:

1) Version 2 B&M styled short shifter
2) Steering wheel and hub
3) Bucket seat

I understand that "you get what you pay for", but for some parts such as short shifter, intake, and exhaust, they are kind of simple and standard parts. I don't think they have much differences from brand-name parts.

For sure, I will never buy critical parts from Ebay such as coilover, control arms, turbo, radiator, etc.

What do you guys think? Any good experience with ebay parts? Should I just stay away from ebay and get cheaper brand-name parts from Megan, Circuit Sports, etc?

Thanks!

I wouldn't want to steer with a piece of shit that could break. At least get a decent wheel and hub, if you buy a shitty one and it breaks, that would suck. If you want a cheap wheel go get a grant wheel, some of them are pretty sturdy and cheap too.

i got an ebay short shifter, it feels good and everything. except at high rpms, above 5k it starts to rattle like a bearing is loose in the mechanism. good for temporary usage though.
