Stripped bolts from chair? Need help

hi, like the title say. my thread for my bolts on my chair were currently stripped. im trying to find a way to fix it. bought this permatex stripped thread repair kit and currently working on it right now. i hope itll get fixed but im wondering if any of you guys dealt with this kind of prob.


any ideas how to fix it?


i want to know everyone's experience.

Are you talkin about the bolts that hold the seat to the frame of the car? If so, last time that happened to me, i re-tapped it accept a bigger bolt.

I had the same problem i would rock like crazy haha so i just MIG welded in to the floor and its perfect =) but cant get the seat out of it but i got decent seats already

Well if you can find one good oem bolt and go slow you might be able to retap it that way if its not too stripped. If not the kit should do the trick.
