HKS actuator WITH manual boost controller?

Well I've searched and found not much of an answer except this hilarious thread>>

http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=564019

I've also read quite a few pages on the GT2871R turbo thread but there's 100+ f**king pages. I just need a quick answer if you have personal experience with this or a friend.

Pretty much my set up as of now
Redtop SR
GT2871R with HKS actuator
SARD 550cc Injectors
SARD Fuel Pressure Reg
Aeromotive 340 Fuel Pump
HKS Front Mount and piping and SSQV black edition
Z32 MAF
Apexi Power FC Tuned ECU
boosting at 14psi

Just wondering if I can add on a MBC to increase boost at maybe 17/19psi sometimes for fun or will it be useless?

I understand I can adjust the rod but it seems like if adjusted all the way everyone reached a peak of 14psi.. from what I've read..

Yes set the internal wastegate to the minimum boost you intend to run. Use the mbc to raise the boost to whatever, can't really say if you'll be able to hit 17 or 19 with the mbc because certain types only bleed off a few psi, other types (ball and spring) will work better. Ebc's are far better than all mbc's. Mho.
