Would a set of 17x7 +43 with 225/45's on it work at all on an s13? I am thinking that that is inset way too much to clear the shock/spring without a massive spacer.

Hmm okay what offset should i be looking for then? obviously something in the negative but how far?

+25 or lower at least. Do some research on wheel fitments, there's tons of info on here and online.
