I paid 430.00 for a t25 rebuild they had to do twice because they could not do the job right the first time. Please do more research if possible before you bring them your time and money so it is not wasted. I have yet to try out the 2nd rebuilt turbo due to previous work, i should have just bought a new turbo. GL.

We remanufactured the turbocharger at our regular rate of $425.00 upon receiving the unit for a "warranty" claim and inspection the unit had been starved of oil some reason. That does not fall under warranty obviously. After the legal threats and headache we decided to replace the center cartridge because at the point you brought your father down, he was a very polite and understanding gentleman. It was at that point we decided to help him out. I still have the invoice/receipt stating it was not under warranty however we would help you out for the last time with no additional warranties to include the photos of the starved unit. I will not continue to post on this matter, this is just merely to defend our name and business ethic. There are always two sides to a story and here are the facts. Give us a call and make up your own mind on your own experience. Thanks guys for the space and time. -Daniel |

What is the mileage/usage interval before the grease needs to be changed? How does its lubricity compare to oiled turbos? Any spool comparisons?
What is the cost to change the grease?

Hey, good question. The turbochargers come pre packed and each greasing is good for 3k miles. The turbochargers have a grease zirk fitting on top and you just supply 3 pumps every 3k miles or with every oil change is a good idea. Once the Turbochargers are brought up to operating temp the response etc is the same. The grease tube retails at $179.00 however I can help with that, each tube is 8oz and should be good for a year supply. |

It sounds like the pros are easier/simpler installation, not having to connect lines and being able to clock anyway you want.
Cons i would say are longer warm up times and having to maintain it every few months, but this oil-less turbo business is all new to me.

turbo can be mounted however you want since gravity will not be a factor with the oil less setup. |

Hey guys, he is on the money. The biggest pro would have to be the benefits of a triple ball bearing unit without the oil lines and possibility of smoking from over angle mounting. However the turbos are water cooled to maintain a constant temp. The turbo utilize a self dissipating grease, each interval is good for 3k miles. There is a zirk fitting on the cartridge, 3 pumps every 3k miles and shes ready for more. If I would have to point out the "cons" you have to maintain these turbochargers and they are a little more expensive. |
