bee r rev limiter
hey everyone, ive been searching the web for the ECU pinouts on a 91 KA24DE and every diagram is totally different!!! i got my Bee R rev limiter wired in but im not getting anytihing limited when reved. i dont think i wired it wrong but some advice would help alot. it says to tap into the ignition signal and the rpm signal but i cant get a definite wire color or pin number from anywhere. if someone could post a definite pinout or wiring diagram for the bee r rev limiter on a 91 KA24DE it would ROCK!!!! ill send u drift stickers from the Island Slide Drift company or sometihng. thanx.

lol i tried google. but my whole issue is is that some of the diagrams are missing pin information or are currupt links. when it comes to cross refferencing them to get the right information im realising that both diagrams are totally different. thanx for the joke though.

turns out that dougals rev limiter was wired correctly and the actual rev limiter was defective. toygunmetalr32 needs to calm down, shave his mullet, get laid, and then he mite be a little less frustrated and lend a nicer helping hand

i have the unit myself and before you say its defective make sure that the ground or the black wire is grounded properly and make sure that it has good contact! on the japanese manual it even says that or unit will not work. then rule out its a bad unit.
i had the thing grounded and bolted but i had to sand down where the terminal sits and now no problems |

What did you do for your Rev2 switch? i found some people using the E-brake wire as seen here (Drifting Tools and Resources | Driftworks | Bee-R Rev limiter fitting guide) but i was wondering if anyone hooked up a clutch pedal switch? that only activates Rev2 for when the clutch pedal is held down, like a launch controll should engage? Similar to a WOT switch for nitrous aswell. Anyone know if theres a wire in the harness that tells the ECU when the clutch is engaged and disengaged? that would work aswell wouldnt it?
I just see a huge problem with flicking a swith to launch, launching then hurrying to switch it off before you reach the rev limiter to continue through the gear. |
