They are XRP Clamshell Fittings very similar to Wiggins. Broadfield is an advertiser on the forum and he is my source for all my fittings.
"i wanna see close ups of the rear wide body panels did u end up using rivets? i didnt see any bolts" Apex, I only have a few BOLTS in place right now but what I did was put rivnuts behind the panel so I can use bolts, NOT rivets. Rivnut basically allows you to place a threaded insert in a blind panel. I will be using this tool to place new threads in the engine bay for my accessories (ps, oil separator and overflow canisters). |

I havent snapped photos of work lately cux it's been more deconstruction to paint cage and rear firewall. But.... Aerocatch 3 (quick front bumper removal). As easy as.. 1. 2. 3. |

I know most of the experienced guys know how to proper wire harnesses and such. But for those DIY first timers I can't say enough about how easy using proper weatherpack and metripack connectors can be for your harness.
Example: George's HID kit. Plug n Play by using male connectors you plug into your current oem connector. Since I'm doing a harness I want true "plug n play". Last edited by scottie; 06-06-2014 at 12:24 PM.. |

I could not agree with you any more. We take a little something from each other and its cool to see that. Speaking of taking away from one another, Where did you buy the Aerocatch 3s from? Want to do the same for my bumper and hatch

This is such an amazing build thread I almost feel like I shouldn't comment. Your attention to detail is beyond impressive, and is inspiring to say the least.
- One question though, are you using a used GTO engine, or did you buy a crate motor new and just use those covers? Good luck, I hope I get to see the final product here! |

Thanks! The motor came from a wrecked 2005 GTO with 23K miles on it. There was t a drop of oil or fluid on the motor or transmission so I jumped on it. I like the gear ratio of the later model 6.0-6.2 liter motors more than the LS1 so it too was an added benefit. I took the saved expenses of buying a new crate motor to put heads, cam, intake and other items to make this a more reliable setup for racing. It all depends on how the car will be used. If this was a weekend or nice weather street car I would have bought a crate motor and be done. |

Fueled Racing PS Line set custom made for my setup. Those guys rock.
For those who aren't familiar with the kit they use custom machines fitting for the rack that will seat it all the way down so no leaks will occur. Since my reservoir and fittings are all AN they made this setup particular for the KRC pump/reservoir setup. Last edited by scottie; 06-06-2014 at 12:25 PM.. |

Are you scotheocelot on SilviaV8? I swear this car looks familiar. If you are, I bought your old daft headers!
Sick build!
