Yes, I used the Hyper Black for the shift boot. The knob I took out of my old Sti. It's an optional OEM titanium Sti knob. Normally it would have a pink Sti sticker around the base of the knob in the groove.

Same here. That picture of my cluster is old, I have amber bulbs in it now.
A lot of the new model cars I rode in in Europe had clusters that lit up orange, and I really liked them. I recall reading it is the best color for the eyes when driving at night, or something along those lines.
I am all about night driving pleasure.

For you guys with fixed racing seats, how well does the stock seatbelt contact your hips with the higher bolsters being there?

if you have auto belts, pull the lap belt through the harness slots. done.
