Sr20 turbo outlet studs bolts and nuts
Ok so noticed a boost leak and found out that on my turbo elbow that only one bolt is holding it and the 2 studs are still there but the nuts backed out and the other two bolts backed out completely so my question is what size is the bolt ? Not the stud and nut size just the other 3 ?

its the same as your axle bolts if I remember correctly...to help keep them from backing out us a "locking" style nut...I usually put mine halfway on the stud, hammer it ovalish and put it on...zero issues

hardware I used for my turbo (15k miles ago)
 make sure you use all HANGERS and BRACKETS. The gasket likely blew because you are missing a critical transmission->exhaust bracket. |
