Yep, i know i know dumb move, i fail. Now, can i have some help here plz? I have a 1991 coupe s13 with some open end lug nuts that ive lost the keys to :,[
Good news is i have two sets of lug nuts on my wheels so not all lugs are locked. Any options? What can i do.

If they are steel you can scrape off the coating on the ends, take a regular nut and weld the inner portion to the lug, then remove with a breaker bar or impact gun. I used this method successfully before. If they are aluminum you could attempt to split them with a big hammer and a chisel but idk if that would actually work... never tried it.

I used to work at a discount tire and we had a tool that was made for taking off wheel locks and rounded off lugs.

Oh i didnt realize that was an available service. That welding method is beyond my know how so i think ill pay discount tire a visit.

Also if you have a socket you're willing ruin a socket you can get one about the size of the lug nut just enough to where you can't get it over the lug nut by hand. Then you get a hammer and hit it on, after that use a ratchet or beaker bar to remove the lug. The only

There is atleast one of these "no lug nut key, what to do with lug nut" threads every other week or so. You're definately not the first to have this happen. There is a search option on this forum that would yield many answers to your problem.

I recommend jdsr20det's 2nd post. Sockets are cheap to replace, especially if you use a cheap socket instead of a snap on, mac, etc... Not sure if they replace misused sockets.

Yes, searching is your friend. Lots of people have luck (myself included) by actually going to a tire shop and having them extract it for you for a small fee. You'd be surprised by how easy they can do it too.

Also, although I'm sure this isn't your true intention, but to some people (like me), this sounds like a 'hey look, I saw some wheels on another car that doesn't belong to me (hence the I 'lost' my key and I can't get them off) and I was wondering how to get them off so I can steal them' thread.

yah theyre generic but ive had no luck in finding the one that fits mine....

LOL this is my car and my wheels good sir. Im just dumb enough to put two sets of wheel locks on my car to have double the chance of losing them lol
