Transmission Issue!!!! HELP!!!!!

freshly rebuilt CA18 with centerforce dual friction clutch and S14 tranny w/ OS Giken gears swapped to my bellhousing.

-clutch used already by me on my this CA
-S14 tranny out my friends car(worked fine)
-no air in clutch lines and about an inch and a half of slave cylinder movement
-tranny was hard to spline on to motor, i had to draw it on with transmission bolts, but it was hard to get off his KA too

Went to take it on its maiden voyage, fired up ran great, but having already pushed in the clutch to start it would not go into ANY gear. It feels like the pedal has good resistance like before, but you have to slam it into gear, like you dont even have the clutch pushed in, and it'll chirp the tires and lock into gear. Shut off, it will go into every gear no problems

brainstorming:
- im not definite how the CM and slave work on this thing but if the throw out bearing is shorter or something, can the pedal be adjusted out and therefore allow more throw on the fork?

-the pivot ball looked fine when i put everything together

Never had anything like this happen before, any input?
