FS/FT 1995 Nissan SE 240sx LS1 swap
PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING OFFERS!
Latest pics on page 3....new paint and new tires. More to come! As of today, December 26, 2011, the car has been resprayed the factory color and all tires have been replaced. The car will have all electrical and mechanical issues addressed over the coming weeks. After the car is mechanically sound, I will install enough performance goodies to eclipse the 420whp mark. After that, a slight interior upgrade and the car will be done. TRADES AND PRICING This car will be sold to help finance a purchase of a home and grad school tuition. For those reasons, cash is king. I'd prefer to sell outright but I'd trade under certain stipulations. This LS1 240sx will be worth my asking price entirely upon completion. You will not find a car in such outstanding condition with high performance in the price range. My asking price will be $16,000. I will negotiate, but not much. It is not a necessity to sale, but it would make my life easier. I will not sale for crackhead pricing. I will not entertain lowball offers. I've tried to be as upfront and honest with everyone who has PM'd me. I'm very aware of what the market pricing is for ALL imports. I stay up to date with the trends and advances in technology. I'm a reasonable guy and expect the same in return. HOWEVER, AS OF 12/26, WITHOUT GO FAST GOODIES AND UPGRADED INTERIOR, WITH ALL OTHER ISSUES FIXED I'D TAKE $12,750. TRADE 1.) Car must be problem free and extremely reliable. 2.) Car must be a stock as possible. No extreme modifications. 3.) Absolutely NO 240sx or Motorcycles. (I have an s13 project that will follow the same quality build guidelines I have for this car and will be up for sale soon. And motorcycles are of the devil. Been there, wrecked that, have the scars and limp to prove it.) 4.) Trade must include ~$10,000. This is my last "go" at modifying imports. Been a fun hobby but I'm over it. I'm into performance luxury sedans, trucks, SUVs, and legitimate sanctioned race cars now. Ya know...grown up stuff I want to finish these last projects and admire the street scene from a distance. Thanks for the offer man but $5000 aint gonna cut it haha If you priced it all out there's certainly over $10,000 spent between the car and the parts. I know I'm not going to get that. $10k is just the starting spot. I'd really like to finish it but life dictates I get my master's degree and my brother buys a house so the cars gotta go!

I tried calling both you and your brother yesterday...no reply. Even left a message on david's voicemail. I only have Powersports related toys to trade. Let me know if you're interested. I'm in nc.

You must not have a full understanding of the swap in front you. 5k would barely cover the motor and tranny. You know what, i challenge you to built this is exact car mismatched paint and all for under 10k. Smh

Glad to see you're not dealing with lowball offers, I wish I could just trade motor setups with you...! I shoulda went LS from the beginning instead of building my SR.
Interested in trading/selling those rims? |

No bikes for me!
Not really trying to part out at this time. As it sits, this car is a perfect starting point for someone wanting to take on a small project. Paint + fix the listed issues, and youve got a hell of a car. The swap n mounting kit is very pricey. And then you have to spend all the time and energy getting it running. This car gives people the chance to pick up a project and customize it to their exact liking without much work or headaches. I feel my price is fair. |

Not sure how that could be misinterpreted....you offered him 5k....that's a horrible offer. Hope you get what you need for this car. Someone will be very happy with it when completed.

I just came across this thread again, and still really like this car! I wasnt meaning to shoot you a lowball out of disrespect, I was just saying what I can pay. I understand your car is worth more. And I have been saving up more and more. I will see how this week goes and PM you if its still available. I would like to work something fairer then 5K out. I understand that just retardly low...

Still got the car. Getting offers on it..however they are too low for me to consider or something I'm not interested in. I don't want any motorcycles, bikes, s2000s, miatas, or other small sport compacts. Do not want civic, integras (except type R), def not another 240, or any car older than a 2000.
My exception to the rule would be a very nicely kept 300ZX TT. |

I'd estimate 330-340whp. I'm comparing that to other LS1 engines with similar mods to mine. A cam upgrade will bring the whp to the 400 mark.
Car handles great! It's a blast to drive. If I were keeping the car I'd raise it an inch or so to help with speed bumps and daily driving. |
