i saw a guy run a 16.8 in a s13...  talked to him.. don't remember the year but he said he had an intake and a catback..

Go to the 240sx.org FAQs and look at the auto shift pressure, you can disconect the resistor to make the auto shift faster, good for racing but too rough for normal driving.

tried it, but it doesn't make a big difference, it's actually faster when you leave it on. but it is more fun.

In case you do take it off, you'd have to reset the ECU. this is why I don't take it off no more, it's a PITA to get to the ECU.
