No Not really an update but I installed my interior, just going to wait for the rest of my cage to get stripped down, so I can repaint it silver was planning on getting it powder coated the original cusco blue, but due to the cost of that I've decided to just paint it for now. |

Hoping tax returns come in soon so I can finish faster, but as of today I'm behind with parts and money so This might end up dragging on into april not sure yet but hoping it doesn't I WANT TO DRIVE! I also decided to clean and de grease everything I have including extra parts bolts/nuts, etc. which took forever!! PICS: |

Absolutely love everything about this car (save for the GTR wing but thats just me) Love the fact that it isnt your average cookie cutter S13 build.

So I had a little time to work on my car, but I got a few things done, I installed my TAKATA 6 Point Harness, Started wiring in my stereo stuff, and I started working on my fronts wheels, got some camber out on my fronts. I've been wanting to do that so I can finish up the tubs, and prep it for paint... anyway I took some pictures so I'll share. So that's it till the end of the month, stay thirsty my friends. |

So my trailer fender came on saturday, so I finally got to continue the tubs. I had already cut out roughly what I was going to replace but want to finish trimming before cutting the rest. Anyway here are some few pics of when I was trimming them to wrap around the strut tower.
First I cut them in half, ones a tiny bit longer but doesnt matter I'll be trimming the excess off anyway. Then I cut out some cardboard to get a rough line and I cut and grinded to where I'm at now. I ended up cutting out more of the frame rail since I want them as high as possible. all in all today was a chill day, although my back has been killing me. I also picked these up this weekend: This JDM swirl thing was a gift, it's really sweet lights up different colors might be buying a new battery soon so I'll post lit pics next time. anyway that's all for now, tomorrow me and my welder are gonna meet up and talk about the tubs so maybe an update soon! Thanks guys.
So I've been trying to make my car more functional than before especially since I'm no longer going to be on any metal fenders and want to drive as hard as possible I need good clearance. That being said the 25mm front and 30mm rear fenders were WAY to small and had to go, especially with the bigger tires. So I opted out for some D-Max 40mm fronts and 50mm rears. Much bigger and exactly what I needed. Although the fitment on the fenders wasn't what I was expecting I made it work. I'll explain below. Now before I post pics I need to mention that I sold my Aero bumper and my Origin D1 Mirrors, and picked up something a bit more rare and unique. It was a tough but quick decision. You'll also notice I removed the hood spacers and got the hood to fit properly. The rear vents have got to be my favorite part of these fenders. Here you can see how I had to make a seperate bracket to hold the headlights due to the D-Max brackets being to wide out and forcing it would make the bumper fit improperly. and here you'll see my skirts end piece fitted perfectly, had to make a little bracket for this to fit good, also had to cut the fender a bit but no ones gonna see that. AND enough teasing heres the rest. The front bumper is Kei Office and the mirrors are an unknown brand, was told by a friend who looked into them that they might be JUN mirrors but not sure. Also you can see I'm extending my lip about 1/8th on both sides to work with it but I'll post more about that later. Heres the finished product of my custom grill, I didn't want to go with anything on the market cause it's all been done so many times, and I don't want to be the same. anyway thats about it till next time! |

Thanks guys,
So today I started finishing up my lip and kouki wing. I've never had any experience with fiberglass before this so I think this is alright for my first ever attempt. Yeah I could have paid someone to do it but one I rather do things myself so I can learn, and I wouldn't want to pay someone for something so simple. So what I did was wrap the lip around the bumper and masked off the ends made a mold then trimmed it to make the end pieces still not done but this is pretty much it. As for the S14 Kouki Wing I didn't like the inner mounts flairing up like they did so I thought why not chop them off? The wing's not gonna fly off if it's still bolted and will look much better so I did. Also filled the license plate holes someone had drilled That's about all I had time to do today I'll be sanding and smoothing things over tomorrow, again I've never really done any body work so it'll be a good experience! |
