ka24de HEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP

HI
I have a 1989 240sx I bought a 1992 KA24DE twin cam engine and I dont have the engine harness

which year 240sx engine harness do I have to use

is it 91-95?
Please let me know I would really apreciate the help!!

91 - 98 are all ka24de DOHC
89 - 90 are ka24e

91 - 94 are s13
95 -98 are s14 I'm not totally sure if you can use a s14 harness, but I don't see why not.

So for the 91 - 98 ka24de DOHC It does not matter if i have a 5 speed transmision and a auto matic ecu

its that i bought a automatic ecu from a 92 240sx and I am not sure if it will work on my 5 speed transmision ??

That would make sense to me.

Also, I think you would need a 5 speed ECU.

Any 91-98 harness/ECU will work, but the 91-94 is a direct plug in and requires much less work. Motor doesn't matter, just use the stuff you need and leave the rest unplugged.

What about the 5 speed swap. Can he use an Auto ECU??

Yes, you CAN use the auto ECU, as long as you use an ECU that matches the lineup of the harness (KA24DE, keeping in mind whether it was S13 or S14) harness you have, but the car will idle higher than normal... Personally, I got an S13 harness and ECU for the same shit you are doing
