he's only like 15. i think alot of the cash came from parents. lucky SOB. I wish I was in his spot...would be niiiiiiiiiiiiice.
way to go brian. its good to see younger people get jobs to help support themselves. what are you going to be doing there?? minimum wage is 5.15?! god damn.... in CA its 6.75... if you want another "high" paying job (its high for me, shit) try a tire store. I started at 9.00 and I'm at 11.25 two years later.

cost of living is way different though, I think NY is number one then socal, I am in michigan which is like number three maybe, im just guessing though. its funny because when I got my job here at home depot, I went to a forum and people were all talking about how they have been there for a while making 8 bux an hour. I started at 10 and could have easily gotten 11+ had I asked. another guess though that va is a lot less costly. and even here my first job only paid me 5.85 so ur doin alright.

you guys should look harder. here in ohio(not that expensive of an area to live in) im 19 and have had many jobs over 10 an hour. i had one 525 salary a week(13.15/hr) working service at a vending warehouse. i worked at cinci country club for 8.50 an hour but sundays were time and a half and i usually worked all day sunday so it worked out to be around 11 an hour if you average it all out. right now im prepping cars for a painter at a toyota dealership while learning how to paint for around 10 an hour plus as much overtime as i want to put in. look for warehouse type jobs, go to dealerships. go to costco's and look into tiretech'n there. my buddy is moving out there and his friend makes 15 something an hour just doing tire tech, and his friend got him a job lined up for when he gets there.

i have a job at piggly wiggly, a little grocery store down the road from me, i started at $6, now im at $6.25, and ive been working there for 9 months, it blows ass cuz all i do all day is cut watermelon, and maybe put some tomatoes on the shelf for all the little old ladys to snatch up right away...i want a job at big bear tire, or kolb's auto cuz id start at $9 but none of them are hiring. "the pig" is alright tho cuz i get like 35 hours a week, and i sit on my ass all day, for a 16 year old thats pretty good. none of my friends make 170 bucks a week sittin on their ass... maybe ill get a second job where ill be doin manual labor such as working on cars, cuz i hate sitting on my ass for 8 or 9 hours at a time, plus i love cars and am goin into the business when i get out of high shcool anyway
