I have a 91 hatch that I'm in the process of doing a 5 lug conversion on. Ichiba hubs with EBC Ultimax plain rotors. I've come to find out after taking things apart and putting them back together that the rotor comes into contact with the caliper bracket. The caliper doesn't even want to go over the pads, I have to force it on. Then the hub doesn't spin at all at that point.
I've tried searching, the only thing I've seen was that there was a difference in diameter between 96 and 97-98 rotors. The rotors I bought say they are for 96-98..
