Oh it happens all the time. Almost monthly at some point I would get a call to tune an sr20. I'd say send me the pics etc... and sure enough half of them have had the pcv removed. I explain how important it is, and that I won't even tune the engine until they put the OEM pcv back on it.
Most of the time I never see them again lol. Some people don't want to do it right, they just want to copy how everybody else is doing it
