Its funny. People like that are always the good guys. What about Nixon? He got us OUT of vietnam, he did all sorts of cool stuff, but one little scandle involving breaking and entering, and bam, hes the worst guy in the world.

Very good point. shit's a trip. The real issue with Watergate was not just that it happened, the Democrats and Republicans had been doing this kinda of stuff since Eisenhower. It was the fact that his guys got caught and he tried to cover up his knowledge of it and his discussions of how to cover it up. He lied and got caught lying and trying to cover up. That was his bad. He also in his later years in office became very paranoid of people and rather imperial.
He also did bomb Cambodia which we were not at war with. Of course Vietnam was never a congressionally declared war either which is what is normally needed for the U.S. to be at War officially.
