Some of the z31 came factory with a trans that is just as strong as the z32 txt it just has slightly different gearing
The sohc vg Is a more than capable engine the reason it does not have the reputation it deserves is it was never put in a popular chassis. There are tons of die hard Nissan guys that have no respect for the z31 and it is part of the reason whi nissan is where it is today
