Its not morbid, its curiosity. No one is asking for pictures of the poor guy, but instead of the car...a piece of metal. I haven't heard anyone badmouth the driver or wish harm upon him. Although i too am curious as to what restraints he had and how many times that car went over, I still wish him the very best and hope he has a rapid and full recovery. Lets not overreact here

At the track anytime a driver is injured in a crash the track officials cover the car untill the crew comes to get it. It is a sign of disrespect to gawk and drool over a car that somebody was injured in. If the guy walked away it is a totally different story, drool and gawk and ask questions all you want. THAT is the difference here, the guy is in the hospital. It is a matter of racer etiquette. I know most of you don't understand or even care about that, but I do. We all wanted to see pics, now we have them and there is no need for more pics. Take a look and say a prayer for the guy involved, anything more is just plain disrespectful to him.
