Hey guys. Been looking alllll overrr every where for this answer.

I have a 94 s13 convertible

My check engine light is throwing code 32, for the EGR malfunction... I checked vacuum hoses, everything appears to be hooked up correctly.

When I push up on the EGR diaphragm, the car idles roughly, and if I push it up hard enough, the car stalls. From what I read this is normal..?

I have no idea why it's throwing code 32. Also I only changed the upper manifold , the lower manifold I didn't change. The replacement manifold was off a 92 or 93 I believe. Yes I used all new gaskets

Anyone have any ideas?

Not sure if this is related or not, but my fuel economy is AWFUL. 200 - 250 miles out of the tank. Stock KA24 with auto trans (swapping manual next week), 65% - 75% highway driving too...
