if you think about it... religion as an institution... is the GREATEST pyramid scheme ever... anyone notice that since i believe the 1500's (correct date if im wrong) has been the SINGLE greatest land owner in the world to this day! for example. if a church is comprised of 1,000 devoted adult members thats $1,000+ dollars for that church alone. plus all others in that town, then multiply that by how many in the county, then the state, then country, then ultimantly the world....why do you think the vatican is its own independent country(or whatever the correct term is)...no taxes...
ANYWAYS back to the death thing...(i apologize for the rant)
god is a funny guy... gives man the ability to do whatever the hell he wants.. but immediatly says "RAWR dont do that because i said so even though technically you can" long story short.... a few books later... he saves noah, his wife, his three sons, and their wives, and KILLS EVERYONE ELSE... lol rather amusing if you think about it... and gives a rainbow promise that he will never do it again.

its true... God gets nasty, if you fuck with him... he just sits there and basically says "GET SOME" and throws a world flood, or an angel of death, or the book of revelation at you!
dont get me wrong im not anti-god in anyway. to support something you MUST know the side of those who try to tear you down. and stand firm. but im GLAD this topic was brought up!
