When you charged the A/C did you have your engine running and the A/C on full Blast? I didn't read the directions the 1st time i charged my A/C and tried it with the engine off. The gauge read the High pressure (as it wasn't circulating). WOrks fine now
If that doesn't work you have to start replacing parts/looking for leaks.
