I thought about going with Z series pads right away, but from what I read they have a significant initial bite, which means you have to be very light on the pedal. The ES and M seem to be more for spirited driving etc. The M slightly more aggressive than the ES. But yea, Dixcel was partnered with AP racing for all of their research etc. Dixcel two piece rotors are pretty much some of the best in the business.

Good info. Like most folks around here I had never heard of them but after seeing them plastered all over yaj it made me curious after some research they looked bad ass and their theory's seemed solid. Got a price quote today. $500 shipped slow boat 6-9 months or $600 shipped for 3-6 days EMS.
Now I know this sounds silly and I realize they (brake rotors) are supposed to be mounted with reverse rotation on the slits for best performance but I think it might look so bitching going the other way I almost want to try it with the slits facing forward....
