Thats like asking why did they use Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern, when he already played as Dead Pool in x-men origins: wolverine
Its not like the movies intertwine with each other. Those F4 movies were meh, and Im sure its not something they were worried about.
Not to mention Chris Evans did a really good job as Captain America.
I personally think Ryan Reynolds would make a good flash, if they ever decided to make a movie.
