I use a base-model Momo (<$300) on a Wedge rail, with no slider - it's the lowest seat I've ever sat in, even though it's a bottom-mount. I'm 6'3", and can fit my head and helmet in my sunroof-equipped S13 and S14

There is hope for tall folks!
